A Kelton first: a solar-powered watch!
It's enough to give quartz a lasting reason to be chosen. This watch contains a solar cell capable of converting all forms of light into energy and storing it in a secondary battery (which you never change).
Its typical field-watch case - in sand-blasted aluminum, a material that can be recycled ad infinitum - renews this classic timepiece while retaining one of its most interesting features: the integrated pumps, a not inconsiderable guarantee of robustness for this adventurer's watch.
1. Recharging: any type of light. The solar collectors are located on the watch's dial, and 15 minutes of exposure per day is enough for continuous operation. If the battery is empty, allow around 5 hours of exposure to light to reach full charge. Power reserve: 4 months.
2. No battery. Unlike conventional quartz watches, this watch does not use a silver oxide battery, so it cannot be replaced.
3. Energy level. When the energy level is low, the second hand moves every two seconds, so the remaining autonomy is about 1 day.
5 ATM: suitable for short periods of recreational swimming (not suitable for scuba diving).
37 mm sand-blasted aluminum case.
Mineral glass.
Water-resistant to 5 ATM.
Epson AS 32 Japanese quartz solar movement - 3 hands and date.
