This is the watch with which you'll finally be able to wander fearlessly down to -400 m. in the mesopelagic zone, which begins at 200 meters and ends 1000 meters below the surface. This is a twilight zone, where over 99% of light rays are absorbed, hence the importance of Superluminova (which covers the index and hands). In the bluish glow of your watch, for example, you'll come across the giant squid.

This new version of our 1955 model is fitted with a "Tropic" bracelet, a classic revival of the sixties, like Kelton. The Tropic bracelet has always been the faithful companion of divers and other water sports enthusiasts, thanks to two major qualities: flexibility and resistance.

Our Tropic bracelet, which today equips 1955 models, is made - as it was then - from vulcanized natural rubber, a process that uses high temperatures and sulfur to modify the rubber's structure and make it more resistant without altering its suppleness. It also gives your bracelet a lustrous sheen, quite unlike the cheap silicone reproductions you'll find everywhere.

You may have seen our 40 ATM on the wrist of Stanislas Huille, French vice-champion in the 100m butterfly (June 2023), to whom we entrusted it. It was visible from July 14, 2023 to July 30, 2023 in Fukuoka, Japan, during the World Swimming Championships!
